What MailVerify checks
Each address can be evaluated for formatting, mail-domain DNS and MX records, disposable-provider membership and common role mailbox names. Deep mode can also request a no-message SMTP recipient response and compare a generated address to identify catch-all behavior.
How to interpret results
Deliverable means the available evidence supports the individual mailbox. Protected means the provider hides mailbox existence. Catch-all means the server accepts arbitrary recipients. Unknown means the network or server did not provide enough evidence.
Designed for responsible use
Email verification improves list hygiene; it does not provide permission to contact someone. Users remain responsible for consent, privacy rules and anti-spam laws. Results reflect evidence at the time of checking and are never a delivery guarantee.

Frequently asked questions
Is MailVerify really free?
Yes. Version 0.1.12 has no account, credits, subscription or paid verification API.
Does a “Deliverable” result guarantee delivery?
No verifier can guarantee future delivery. MailVerify reports the strongest evidence available at check time; server policy, throttling, reputation and network conditions can affect results.
Why can SMTP or catch-all show unavailable?
Deep recipient checks need outbound SMTP connectivity. Some ISPs, firewalls and mail providers block or throttle port 25, so MailVerify clearly marks inconclusive checks instead of guessing.
Which file formats are supported?
CSV, TSV, TXT, JSON, NDJSON, XLSX, XLS, XLSM, XLSB and ODS, with files up to 500 MB.
Will Python or extra software be required?
No. The Windows installer contains the application runtime. Users do not need to install Python, Node.js or Excel.
